A refundable $200.00 will be charged to your gate purchase form of payment at the time of shipment. This charge is a deposit to insure the return of the gate shipping equipment (boot). The boot is used to facilitate movement of the gate thru the freight system and reduces damage. This charge will be refunded once the equipment is returned to our facility.

Additional fees may apply to your shipment:

If you are shipping to a residential address, there will be a $80 residential fee. This fee can be avoided by shipping to a commercial address.

It is assumed that a liftgate will be necessary for residential deliveries, liftgate charges are usually $75. To avoid the liftgate charge, you must unload your gate from the truck without assistance from the driver. Additionally you MUST tell the driver not to use the liftgate and note on the bill that a liftgate was not used.

Detention fees may also apply (this fee is charged when the driver is waiting excessively) Detention fees can be avoided by not requesting the driver to wait, to avoid detention fees it is recommended to note the truck arrival time and the truck release time with the words “no detention” on the signed bill of lading.

Please Note: The shipping equipment "boot" will need to be returned within 30 days of the delivery of your gate. A box for return will be included with the gate shipment. A prepaid shipping label will be attached to or emailed with instructions for returns. Please remove and discard the 2X4 from the boot before boxing.
