The Mighty Mule FM352 dual Opener can be used in residential applications including automating gates made of farm tubing, steel, aluminum, wood, and chain link, along with many other gate types. This opener can be set on the left or right and is used in the standard pull-to-open operation. By adding the push-to-open bracket accessory (not included) the Mighty Mule FM352 can be used to push the gate open away from the property with the arms still mounted on the inside. The FM352 opens to 110 max on each side. Both arms can be adjusted individually upon installer preference.

The Mighty Mule FM352 dual Opener is a low voltage system, eliminating the need to run 110 AC to your gate. Simply run 16-gauge low voltage to a household outlet within 1000' of the operator or use a solar panel. The Mighty Mule FM352 runs off of a deep cycle marine battery (battery and housing for battery not included). The large battery allows for a large storage capacity of cycles (Provides up to 1,500 back-up cycles with fully charged battery). This unit also does not have a control box. All the controls of the unit are housed directly in the arm itself, consolidating space and less stuff to mount.

• Closing Timer - Set your gate to close between 0 and 120 seconds after reaching the full open position or turn this option off to leave it open until an entry device activates closing motion.
• Learn Mode - With the Mighty Mule FM352 the learning process, the end points are determined by the user via remote. A simple press of the transmitter tells the opener where to stop and when the opener is set to the desired stop points, save the settings on the board.
• Arm Contained Control Board - The Mighty Mule FM352 does not use a control box; everything is contained within the arm.

The unique design of this opener allows it to be very effective for solar use and also easy installation. There is no battery or control box that comes with the unit and there is a very good reason for that. The lack of a control box is because the board is housed within the arm, something never before done in gate openers. This just takes one more step out of the installation process. The lack of a battery is because it runs off a deep cycle marine battery and with the size and weight of the battery needed, if we shipped it to you the price for shipping and the battery would well exceed what the actual cost of the battery should be. They are easy to find though, most chain stores carry them including most Wal-Marts. The deep cycle marine battery is great for solar usage, a huge number of cycles can be stored and used during night and cloudy days, leaving you running at all times.
