The operator has a new arm design that eliminates major pinch points. This operator is perfect for heavy duty commercial or residential continuous duty operation. The gate opener has a low profile and is post mounted as seen above in the Gate Crafters exclusive. The 3600 is ETL approved and utilizes the advanced 800 series control board.

The Apollo 3600ETL Dual Gate Opener is a low voltage system, eliminating the need to run 110 AC to your gate. Simply run 14-gauge low voltage to a household outlet within 1000' of the operator or use a Gate Crafters solar panel. With Apollo's generous sized NEMA 3R control box you can house a larger battery than most gate operating systems. A larger battery means more cycles during a time of power outages or low sunlight (if solar is being used). A fully charged deep cycle marine battery will provide up to 300 cycles or an average of 30 days usage on a basic system before requiring a recharge (Battery is not included). Each cycle is a full open and close and takes approximately 15 seconds each direction.

Most home and ranch gates range between 100 and 300 pounds, which is well within the capabilities of the 3600 ETL Single Opener which can handle gates up to 20 feet and 1000 pounds. Apollo has really put some time and thought into making this arm durable and ready to take an environmental pounding. The arm is rust proof and self-lubricating and is teamed up with a sturdy NEMA 3R box for the control board and battery. NEMA 3R boxes are well known for being the ultimate in weather protection. They stand up to most anything nature can dish out; winds, sands, ice and snow are no match for a NEMA 3R box.

The real highlight of this opener is in its control board. It features Apollo's new 800 series control board. The 800 series is intelligent, easy to use and a leap above many other comparable control boards. First and foremost, it operates the arm to end all of the cycles, both opening and closing, softly. The control board remembers the stopping points during the set up phase of installation and then applies that memory to its regular operation; slowing your gates motion to gently meet its stopping points. Also among the many advantages of the 800 series board is the self-adjustment to natural factors. All UL 325 approved boards have an adjustable inherent obstruction sensor. The 800 board takes it further by self-learning what natural obstructions already exist. For example, if your gate is heavy but you want the obstruction sensor to be very sensitive to avoid damage or injury the 800 series board will automatically learn changes in the momentum caused by the weight of the gate and differentiate them from an actual obstacle.
