The Estate Swing Medium Duty Carriage Door Opener Kit is a fully weatherproof system that consists of a non-reversing electro-mechanical articulating operator, powered by a 24V DC motor, combined with a control board to move the arm and trickle charge the backup battery. The non-reversing system guarantees the carriage door will automatically lock when the motor is not operating. For added security, we do recommend an external automatic gate lock. For added safety, GateCrafters.com and FAAC both recommend having the complete safety package installed.
Please note: This carriage door opener must be used in garages with fire exits. While the operator has a manual release, it’s not rated for emergency usage.
