The F3100MBC Keypad Intercom made by GTO / Mighty Mule (http://www.gatecrafters.com/product_detail_1019.aspx) is not able to open or close the gate from the interior station. There is a button on the interior station to assist in operating the gate but it will not directly activate the gate opener. When the button on the interior station is pressed it will momentarily change the state of the keypad so any button on the keypad can be pressed to activate the gate opener. However someone has to press a button on the keypad to activate the gate opener. If a guest was leaving the keypad would be on the opposite side of the driveway as the driver side of the car and it would not be easy for the guest to assist in this. So we have to answer this question as no, you cannot close the gate using the interior station on the F3100MBC to close the gate.
