How do I program the Estate Swing E-S 1600, E-S 1602, E-SC 1600, E-SC 1602 gate opener?
This is a very important procedure, without doing this the gate opener will not operate because it does not have a run time programmed in. Also if you lose power for a long period you may have to do this again if the gate opener is flashing OP and then CL on the display without moving.
To program the gate opener run time:
1. Move the gate half way between open and closed and lock the gears engaged.
2. Press and hold P2 until A4 shows on the display.
3. Press the button on the remote, the display will change to PR.
4. The gate will begin to close (if dual both will close but with a 2 second delay between gates)
5. Once closed the gate will automatically open.
6. Once open count for the number of seconds you would want the gate to normally pause for before automatically re-closing and then press your remote again. (If not using automatic re-close press your remote any time after the gate reaches the open position)
7. The gate will close. Once fully closed the programming sequence is over and it is normal operation.
