what is the proper setback for the gooseneck and pin pad
There is no standard, this would depend on property and preference. The goose neck is designed so a car can pull close and have the keypad near the window and post further from the side of the car. Some with a larger driveway would prefer having the keypad stick further into the driveway so the driver can get very close. Others may need the full width of the driveway for trucks and need to ensure no part of the stand enters the driveway area. In this scenario the face of the stand would not enter into the driveway area and would be made within reach of a car window.
