The sentry dual gate opener does not have a delay between leafs (meaning one gate openers first and then the second opens). The gate crafters gate lock does require this because the lock does not have much play in it. You must use the sentry gate lock with a dual sentry gate opener. A garage door opener remote can be used if you purchase a compatible receiver to that remote and wire it to the gate opener.
