GateCrafters.com has created an easy DIY multi-sized chainlink gate frame kit for dual sliding gates. Use the Gate Crafters Chainlink Dual SlideGate Frame Kit to build a chainlink dual slide gate to replace an existing gate, make your gate easy to automate or match a desired look.

Through years of automation experience we have heard one resounding gripe from our customers. The chain link, vinyl, wood or 3 rail gates found in local store and fencing suppliers are just not built for the rigors of automation. All of our gates are custom built to the exact customers specifications (height and width), welded on all joints and are built with 6061-T6 aluminum: known for its strength and resilience. PLUS our gates all come with the necessary component of automation including horizontal supports matched to the mounting need of all common gate openers and ball bearing hinges, made to make your gate swing smoothly and freely through years of usage. Use this gate frame kit by attaching chainlink (chainlink not included) to the 1 1/2" diameter heavy gauge aluminum frame, 1" x 2" rectangular tubing intermediate bracing, and for chainlinks longer than 8' it will include a 1/4" x 3/4" flat bar diagonal bracing welded on to the framing for extra stability. This kit includes (2) 3x3 steel posts, sliding trolleys, and rollers for your convenience.

Automation:

Automation is a breeze with the highly recommended Apollo 7200ETL*. One of the most popular dual gate openers we carry. The operator works on a chain driven system, and it may be post mounted which eliminates the need for painstaking pad mounting. Rated for 25' in length and 800 lbs. Features: Closing timer, self- adjusting auto reverse sensitivity, NEMA 3R Housing and more.

Use this gate kit by attaching the chainlink (chainlink not included) to the 1 1/2" diameter heavy gauge aluminum frame and 1" x 2" rectangular tubing intermediate bracing. It attaches on one side to allow a multitude of chainlink sizes and styles.

Every gate is shipped with a can of self etching primer as a base coat for the frame and then can be painted any color needed. GateCrafters.com uses Marhide self-etching primer by Bondo. A self-etching primer is an essential undercoat layer of paint over aluminum. Primer kills stains, retards moisture and provides a good surface for a topcoat of paint to adhere to. It is imperative that new or bare metal and aluminum is primed prior to painting. Bondo is the producer of the top bare aluminum primers on the market.
