GateCrafters Tripple Channel Universal Garage Door Receiver (P294-3K)

The GateCrafters P294-3K can be attached to both gate openers and garage door openers to control those devices with the same 318mHz remotes your are using on you gate opener or garage.

Please Note: During installation it would be advantageous to have handy:

• garage door opener manual
• volt meter
• spare 2 conductor stranded low-voltage wire
• flat head screw driver

This receiver is not outdoor rated and must be in a water tight casing.

"The GateCrafters P294-3K receiver is for anyone that wants to control three or four devices with one remote. Many gate openers use 318mHz including all that GateCrafters.com sells with the exception of the Zareba. Even though the Zareba does not use 318mHz remotes this doesn’t mean you can install this receiver on it and have it converted to 318mHz. This would then allow you to operate your Zareba with 318Mhz wireless keypads and 318 mHz remotes. This goes the same for your garage door opener. It’s simple, reliable, and convenient. It can be wired into almost any system very easily. You do not have to remove any existing receivers to use this one, two receivers can be used simultaneously.

The purpose of having a three channel receiver is that this one receiver can be wired into three devices. So basically if you have three devices that are close enough to each other that the one receiver would be within range of all devices when activating the devices then you can a triple button remote with one button dedicated to one unit and the second button to the second unit and third to the third unit. The largest appeal of this accessory is its ease of adapting it to your system. Wiring can be seen in the manual link below and to conform your new receiver to your existing long range transmitters set the dip switches to the same settings, it’s just that easy.
