GateCrafters Three Year Warranty for the ES Single Gate Opener

Estate Swing gate openers are warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials and manufacturer workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided the recommended installation procedures have been followed. After the one (1) year warranty has expired, GateCrafters will provide the additional two (2) years of coverage for the opener.

In the case of product failure due to defective material or manufacturer workmanship within the first year of the warranty from the date of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (at the manufacturer's option) at no charge to the customer, if returned freight prepaid to Estate Swing, 13100 State Road 54, Odessa, FL 33556. IMPORTANT: Call (813)-920-8634 for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before returning to factory. Products received without the RGA number will not be accepted. After the one (1) year manufacturer warranty expires, the remaining two (2) years will be handled directly by GateCrafters. To process a warranty during the remaining two (2) years contact GateCrafters at 1-800-537-4283 for further assistance.

The manufacturer and GateCrafters will not be responsible for any charges or damages incurred in the removal of the defective parts for repair, or the reinstallation of those parts after repair. Any components that are not factory specified (i.e. battery and transformer) will void the warranty. This warranty shall be considered void if damage to the product(s) was due to improper installation or use, connection to an improper power source, or if damage was caused by lightning, wind, fire, flood, insects or other natural agent.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. NOTE: Verification of the warranty period requires copies of receipts or other proof of purchase. Please retain these records because it is not the responsibility of Estate Swing or GateCrafters to retain this information.

GateCrafters Extended Battery Warranty In Plain English

This warranty comes with every gate opener purchased from gatecrafters.com.

Important: keep this and sales receipt.

Gatecrafters.com warrants only to the original purchaser that this battery is free of defects in material and workmanship for 60 months (a) within the manufactures warranty period from the date of original purchase, all batteries will be replaced free of charge.
(b) after the free-replacement period the original purchaser may obtain a replacement battery upon payment of a prorated charge based upon the then current published sales price of the battery divided by 60 and then multiplied by the number of full months elapsed since the date of original purchase.

For warranty service, call 1-800-537-gate or (813)-792-9726. Due to varying operating conditions, it is impossible to anticipate the useful life of this battery. If this battery should materially fail during the warranty period, this limited warranty shall control the terms for adjustment. Gatecrafters.com liability is limited to replacement of the battery according to the terms stated above, gatecrafters.com will not be responsible for any expenses for installation, electrical system tests, charging a battery, loss of time, or other expenses which would be considered as incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover damage to the battery caused by abuse or neglect, a failure to keep the battery properly charged or maintained, fire, explosion, freezing, theft, or overcharging.

The warranty described in this paragraph shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Note: some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Gate Crafters: 5 Year Limited Mechanical Warranty for the Estate Swing

Estate Swing gate openers are warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials and manufacturer workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided the recommended installation procedures have been followed. GateCrafters will provide the additional four (4) years of limited coverage for the mechanical parts of the opener.

In the case of product failure due to defective material or manufacturer workmanship within the first year of the 5 year warranty from the date of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (at the manufacturer's option) at no charge to the customer, if returned freight prepaid to Estate Swing, 13100 State Road 54, Odessa, FL 33556. IMPORTANT: Call (813)-920-8634 for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before returning to factory. Products received without the RGA number will not be accepted. The remaining four (4) years will be handled directly by GateCrafters. All mechanical parts under the warranty will be pro-rated by Gate Crafters and replaced for the pro-rated price. Warrantee Returns Policy

Products sold by Gatecrafters.com are either warranted directly by the manufacture or warranted thru us. Return of items that are warranted by its prospective manufacture will be governed by that manufacture's policy. Items that are warranted thru GateCrafters.com, after receiving a return authorization number, are subject to the following return shipping options.

1. Return the defective part via either insured regular US mail, or insured UPS ground and we will reimburse your full shipping cost(continental US) when the repaired part is returned to you.

2. Return the defective part via any insured priority, 1, 2, or 3day service the buyer chooses and we will expedite the repair/replacement and return the part via the same shipper using the same account that the warranted part was shipped to us with. Shipping cost will not be reimbursed under this option.

Our office must receive all items before replacement parts can be shipped. If the customer would like a replacement part shipped prior to us receiving the defective part, the customer must pay full price plus shipping for the replacement part and receive a refund only if the part is found to be defective. Otherwise the part will be shipped back to the customer as a spare.

There will be a charge for returning parts that are shipped to us without a return authorization number or additional parts that are shipped with parts that have been authorized for return.

Advanced replacement returns Credit Policy

Credit to be issued upon return and inspection of RGA products(s). RGA product returns received after 30 days from the date of this invoice may be subject to restocking charges of 15%.

Product claimed as defective will be subject to restocking charges of 15% if no problem is found when evaluated by technician.

If installer or user error caused the problem no direct will be given for returned part.
