The GP-SL050 is an intuitive and highly intelligent system for residential applications. It is a pad mount operator. Due the 120V needed
to power the system a professional installer is recommended for installation.
Programming is a breeze using the JOG feature which allows the installer to move the gate leafs back and forth during the programming
sequence to position the gate in the right end points thus eliminating guessing and reprogramming. During operation disturbances in the travel
of the gate will not interfere with stop point counting because of an inherent ABS system. One of the main features is the battery backup,
supplying approximately 100 cycles with the minimum battery at full charge.
The system can be used with many GTO accessories including loops and guard station controls making this both the installer's choice
and the end users choice in gate automation.

"The GTO PRO GP-SL050 is truly a great step forward in gate opener technology. The battery back-up system is one of the top features of
this system. Most 110V AC units cannot have battery backup without spending hundreds of dollars more. The GP-SL050 all you need are
the batteries, the rest is built into the system.
Another great feature is the brushless motor; because of the use of this technology the system can know its position at all times and will not
wear down the same as standard motors. Most gate openers, if power is cut mid-cycle or some other type of interruption happens the gate
opener becomes confused on its position and needs to complete a cycle before going to normal operation. The GP-SL050 has a location
system built in so it will always know its position.
There are a lot of other great features of this system; like the audible and visual diagnostics, the plug in loop detectors, the power receptacles
in the box, and so much more but I did have to point out in detail the ease of programming. It has a JOG system. What this means is if during
the limit setting you are not in the right position to set your limit you can push a button and the motor will turn slightly in either direction to get
it positioned correctly. This will save a lot of headaches.
GTO, inc. does recommend that a professional installs this unit and GateCrafters.com supports this policy. GateCrafters.com is however still
