The Estate Swing E-SC 1602 Dual Opener is a low voltage system, eliminating the need to run 110 AC to your gate. Simply run low voltage wire to a household outlet within 144' of the operator. The E-SC 1602 and E-S 1602 are the only two Constant Duty DIY gate openers on the market. What does this mean to you? These gate openers will run again and again without running a battery down. All other DIY gate openers run off of a battery and are trickle charged after a cycle is run to recharge that battery. If cycles are run off the battery faster then the power can charge it, then your gate opener runs the risk of being temporarily stuck closed. With the E-SC 1602 and the E-S 1602 the power for the cycles come directly from the 24V transformer plugged into a standard outlet; the batteries are strictly backup for power outages. Thus add another level of reliability and peace of mind.

- Opening/Closing Soft Stop Opening/Closing Soft Stop is a feature in which the control board, during the easy set up process, learns where your opening and closing points are for the swing of the gate. Then during normal operation the gate operator automatically slows the motion of the gate to smoothly meet with the gate's destination point.

- Extended Setback Most gate operators have a required setback for the rear pivot point on the post. This pivot point set back many times makes it difficult to mount on columns. The E-SC 1602 has an extended setback, allowing it to be mounted to most columns or posts. "Column mount are designed to work seamlessly with gate mounted onto larger square columns. These openers allow you to automate your gate while saving money during installation. Typically with larger columns you would have to cut a niche into the column to mount a traditional linear actuator or buy a expensive pad mount opener. However, with a column mount style you can achieve a simpler DIY installation.
The Estate Swing E-SC 1602 dual gate opener is designed for gates from 16 feet in length or 800 lbs per leaf. The unit attaches to the gate via an articulating arm that reaches back behind the corner of the column, making it possible for setbacks that are not available to most linear operators. A concern with older model articulating arms were pinch points, Estate Swing has now eliminated these. The articulating arm has curved pivot point connections, making it safer to have around families. The Estate Swing E-SC 1602 utilizes a smart control board to run the commands mechanical parts of other systems run.
One great feature of modern day openers is the soft close and soft start. This takes of wear and tear off your hinges and opener as the force of the gate is not coming to a drastic stop.
The Estate Swing E-SC 1602 also features simple to program limit switches. The control board will emit a audible noise when the limit switch is in the correct position. To adjust the limit switches is very easy on the E-SC1602, simply loosen the cam lob on the top of the motor until the switch is activated..
