If you are replacing an old LA400 board with the new LA400DC board, the transmitter frequency has changed. You can either also purchase the 312HM to make your old wireless devices compatible or purchase the new MAX remotes. In order to use MyQ, you must purchase the LM828 Internet Gateway separately.
