The Estate Swing E-S 1000D Solar series offers easy
to use and easy to install functionality. It has the lowest standby draw of any DIY solar gate opener control
board on the market today (under 10mA).

With the Estate Swing Solar series, your residential gate can be automated by tapping into the power of the sun. Estate Swing gate openers are designed to be easy to install for the average handyman. This unit comes standard with the kit items needed to automate your gate, including mounting brackets (hardware to affix brackets to the gate and column are not included).
The Estate Swing 1000D includes a generous sized control box you can house a larger group size 24 battery than most gate operating systems. A larger group size 24 battery means more cycles during a time of power outages or low sunlight. A fully charged deep cycle group size 24 battery will provide up to 300 cycles or an average of 30 days usage on a basic system before requiring a recharge. Group size 24 battery is not included.
The Estate Swing Solar series is designed with some of the same great features as the Estate Swing classic line but made with 12 volt power to enable the solar option. GateCrafters.com even provides solar panels (5 watt or 10 watt) within the DIY kit to make your purchasing choice hassle-free. The Estate Swing Solar series can be used with higher wattage panels with minimal modifications. Capable of adapting to extreme solar applications, you can match any size 12 volt battery and any wattage solar panel* to the system. * Solar panels must be matched up to compatible solar charger.
Estate Swing gate opener features for DIY installers include: no learning procedure, magnetic limit switches, and fully adjustable brackets. Estate Swing Solar series has no learning procedure; because of its smart usage it runs from one limit to the other without having to learn the procedure to the processor. Meanwhile the magnetic limit switches are adjustable on the bottom of the arm; simply slide them to where you need them. The included fully adjustable brackets can be made to fit any situations. Installers have alternate parts for gate openers on hand; homeowners do not; that is why these brackets are designed to fit all needs (including push to open).

The Estate Swing Solar Series- How Does it Work?
The solar panel absorbs solar energy and charges the 12 volt battery (not included). The gate opener then runs off this charged battery. Your solar panel can be installed up to 250 feet away from the control box (and charge controller). If you are using the A/C charging option, instead of solar, your transformer can be up to 1000' away from the gate opener control box. For both of the above options the battery is maintained directly by either the solar panel or the transformer.
On major benefit of this Estate Swing Solar series is that it only has one power supply connecting to the control board. Fewer wires means it's simpler to install and simpler to use. Fewer wires also means better protection against power surges. Reduced wire and the lowest standby draw on the DIY market makes the Estate Swing Solar series truly stand apart.

- NO Learning Procedure This is one of the most desirable features of this intelligent control
board. Once everything is wired in you can just run your gate opener. All other openers have to go through a
learning procedure to know how long to run for and other details. No hassles here.
- Easy Access Adjustable Magnetic Limit Switches There are many pluses to the limit switches on
this unit. They are easy to adjust and access. They are on the bottom of the exterior of the arm, simply
slide them to the location needed and tighten down a screw. Secondly, both the open and closed point is
adjustable; this gives you more flexibility of stopping points after the brackets are bolted into place.
Lastly they are magnetic so there are no components to wear out or break from contact.
- Adjustable Run Time/Soft Stop One of the parameters you can designate for this opener is a run
time. The advantage of this is, again, it is not a learned procedure, but
something you input manually as an adjustment for your soft stop. The purpose is to give an option for where
you want soft stop to begin. If you make the run time the same as the actual
run time from limit to limit it will slow down half way; as you extend the run time past that time the soft
stop will become shorter and give you a faster opening time. The board makes it
easy to set, it has a counter on it telling you how many seconds it takes to go from open to close - then you
simply put that number or a number of your choosing to delay the slow
down.
- EZ read digital display notifications The display will indicate when it is sending poser to
the electric lock, when it is open, when it is in auto-reclose pause countdown, when it is closing and
visually counting the run time. All this info makes it easy for the Do-It-Yourselfer to understand their gate
opener clearer and look like a master installer.
- Closed position lock release The Estate
Swing classic is the ONLY gate opener on the market to release your solenoid gate lock for a second time
after the closed limit is reached. Why is this a plus? It shows true appreciation for customer feedback. For
years the number one complaint from customers is the solenoid gate locks take too much force to lock back
into place. And with the advent of soft stop this has become even more of an issue. The Estate Swing classic send a 1 second burst of power to
the lock to allow the lock to re-latch electronically rather than through force.
- Obstruction sensing alarm Safety has always been the top priority for Estate Swing. The
classic now comes with an alarm to let you know when a problem has occurred. If the gate makes contact with
an obstacle it will stop and back up for 3 second to clear the obstacle. If the gate is jammed on the
obstacle making an obstruction happen 3 times in a row the system will shut down and an alarm will sound
until the system is reset notifying anyone around the gate that there is a problem needing immediate
attention.
- Low Draw Solar Board The E-S 1000 series has the lowest standby draw of any DIY solar gate opener
on the market today (under 10mA).
- Easily Adjustable Brackets The brackets are set up to be user customized to fit any need
configuration; push to open, pull to open, mounting on back of post, mounting on
side of post, etc.

E-S 1000 automatically reverses directions when it comes in contact with an obstruction. The Estate Swing E-S300 also has the
safest method of controlling safety devices. All safety devices are set up on a Normally Closed circuit. Some
gate openers are set up on a normally open circuit. What this means is that the
Estate Swing E-S 1000 is virtually fail-safe. If a
safety device does not activate for any reason the Estate Swing E-S 1000 will not operate, keeping your loved ones and assets safe. Gate
openers with safety devices set up on a Normally Open connection will operate with the disabled safety device
and the consumer will not know the safety device is inactive until it is too
late!
- Quick Manual Release Every unit comes with a quick release pin for the gate side bracket. If there is a rare instance where the battery has gone dead and the gate opener will not actuate you can simply remove the pin and swing the arm and gate to the open position.

“The Estate Swing E-S 1000D is a dual gate opener kit that comes complete with 2 arms, one of which has an extra long cable, all the brackets you need, the control board, 2 remotes, receiver, and depending on your choice of either solar or A/C charging version, and control board.
One of the best features of the Estate Swing E-S 1000D is how quiet it is during operation. The noise level is barely notice and equates to a slight hum. This gate opener extends quickly due to the size of its motor and the efficiency of the gear box.
The limit switches are completely sealed, so that dirt will not interfere with their operation. These switches are easy to set, and all you need to do is locate the magnet on the arm of the Estate Swing E-S 1000D with a metal washer. Move the limit switch to the proper location, and tighten down the exposed screws. These limit switches are super easy to set up and are very reliable.
The Estate Swing E-S 1000D features a 4 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch motor, which is a great size motor in a gate opener of price level. This gate opener also features an all-metal housing and an all metal gearbox. The outer housing is all-metal as well, and this is the lowest price gate opener that has this feature. All of the wiring inside of the housing is easy to get to and makes this gate opener easy to maintain.
The gears of the Estate Swing E-S 1000D are all steel and ride on sealed ball bearings. This gearbox features a worm gear set up. This gear box is very reliable and features a 5 year warranty. With the construction of this gearbox, I believe that it will out last the warranty.
The Estate Swing E-S 1000D comes in two versions: a A/C charging version or a solar option. The control board will be either housed in a plastic box, which comes with the A/C charging version, and an all metal box for the solar version.
This control board has hook ups for the gate openers, limit switches, all of your safety items, buttons that all you to go in or out, as well as hook up for locks. Locks are very important for longer gates. These locks will help protect your gate opener from unwanted damage from a forceful entry.
To recap, the Estate Swing E-S 1000D is very quiet and quickly reaches its extended length, it has a built in circuit for the locks, as well as one of the most solar efficient gate boards on the market today."
