    433 Mhz Transmitter:
    The Estate Swing 433 Mhz remote is compatible with:

    New Apollo (only when purchased through gatecrafters.com) and Estate Swing gate openers. Existing Estate Swing openers from 2012 or newer. Any devices paired with the 433ESREC receiver.

    433 Mhz Receiver:
    The Estate Swing 433 MHz 2 Channel receiver (433ESREC) is compatible wired with: All gate openers for 24-volt gate openers a 12-volt transformer will be needed (not included)

    433 Mhz Transmitter:
    The Estate Swing gate opener 4 button remote control is considered one of the premium remotes in comparison with current available gate openers. Featuring a range that most of the time exceeds 300 feet, the Estate Swing 4 button remote adds a new level of reliability to your gate opener system. This remote can be used from your car, motorcycle, pocket, purse and many times even from your house if it is within range (NOTE: Always make sure you can see the gate and are aware of anyone near it when activating the gate opener for safety purposes).

    For the receiver this remote is compatible with there is the possibility to learn up to 400 codes. Each button on this remote sends a unique code. You can learn each button to a different receiver or you can learn all four buttons to the same receiver. Each button learned to the receiver will count as one code used out of the 400 available.


    433 Mhz Receiver:
    The Estate Swing 433 MHz 2 Channel receiver (433ESREC) has the ability to control two separate devices or two different relays on a control board and can learn up to 400 codes. The typical situation for the receiver controlling two devices in a 3 car garage. Usually, there are 2 separate garage door openers in this type of garage and you can utilize the one receiver to control each one of them with a separate button on the remote. Another option for using the two relays on the receiver is controlling two separate terminals on a single gate opener. Many times gate openers will have a terminal for an automated open and close and another terminal for partial opening or open only during re-closing without stopping. A second button on the remote could be used to control this second function.

    433 Mhz Transmitter:
    • Visor Clip: The visor clip is designed to slide onto most sun visors of most model cars or trucks.
    • Key Ring Holder: Remove the clip and add the remote to your key chain for walks or motorcyclists.
    • Strong Range: The remote has a range of 300 feet. with a powerful 433 MHz frequency this remote will be very reliable for entry and exit. so the line of sight is not necessary but helps.
    • Learning code: With the press of a button the new remote is learned into the receiver. No need to match dip switches with old remotes.
    • Size: At 1/2" D x 1 1/4" W x 2" H this remote is about the same size as many automobile key chain remotes.
    433 Mhz Receiver:
    • Easy Wiring: There are 4 or 6 wires that you need to connect depending on if you are using 1 or 2 channels. Two are for power, which can be AC or DC 12-24V. If you cannot find a power source (most gate openers have a battery you can run it off of) then you can hook it up to a transformer. (Search your junk drawers, many old transformers from other electronics may fall within the generous range allowed by our receiver). The other two wires close a circuit. On a garage door simply find the two terminals that the wall mount button uses.
    • Strong Range: This is one of the best features of this receiver. The range is rated at 300 feet but many times it can exceed this.
    • Learn Button Programming: Simply press the learn button on the receiver. A light comes on. Then press the button on the remote you wish to use and the light blinks and turns off. Done! Repeat with other remotes or buttons. This receiver can learn up to 400 remotes
    • Versatility: Because of the simplicity of the receiver, it can be used to just about any purpose. On Estate Swings there is a second open command terminal for partial openings, you can use this receiver to allow a dual button remote to open your gate fully or partially. On Apollos and GTOs, there are open only terminals, you can use this receiver to create safer automation for multiple remote control users by only allowing them to open the gate and letting auto-close close the gate - great for condos and other public entrances so they cannot accidentally reverse the gate on another car. For any accessories that are not wireless you can use the 433UNIADP 433 MHz adapter paired up with this receiver to make it a wireless device. In addition to all that, it has both a normally open and normally closed connection, allowing it to either open a circuit or close a circuit wirelessly - we have had hundreds of customers that came up with many other great uses for this device.

    The range of use for the automatic driveway gate opener transmitters would vary for each automatic driveway gate opener installation; varying on model installed and external factors. 

    The Estate Swing automatic driveway gate openers generally have a range of approximately 300 feet for the automatic driveway gate opener transmitters that comes with each system. .

    The published range for GTO and Lift Master radio controls is 50-100 feet, and must be used in line-of-sight of the gate for safety purposes.

    The Apollo automatic driveway gate openers generally have a range of approximately 300 feet for the automatic driveway gate opener transmitters that comes with each system (when bought from GateCrafters.com).

    How should I run my wire to my automatic gate lock? ▼
    It runs from your control panel. What we suggest is running it along a vertical bar on the gate. You can use zip ties to hold it to the back, matching the color of the zip ties to that of your gate.
    Which automatic driveway gate opener to use with a wood gate? ▼

    Privacy fences usually don't work well with swing automatic driveway gate openers because the solid surface acts as a "sail" in the wind. 

    This adds strain to the motor of the automatic driveway gate opener and generally trips safety sensors that are a part of all automatic driveway gate opener systems. Either you can use an automatic slide driveway gate opener or you would have to manually operate a swing driveway gate opener in windy conditions. It would also be recommended to use an automatic driveway gate lock to lock your driveway gate shut in the closed position. This takes pressure off of the automatic driveway gate opener’s arm when the wind pushes against the driveway gate.

    The easiest automatic driveway gate opener to manually operate would be the Estate Swing E-S 1600/1602 automatic driveway gate opener. The Estate Swing E-S 1600/1602 automatic driveway gate opener has a key release on the top that releases the gears and allows the driveway gate to be moved manually without having to remove the automatic driveway gate opener.
