Mule Gate Opener - Mighty Mule FM360 Single Gate Opener
The Mighty Mule FM360 Single Gate Opener can be used in residential applications including automating gates made of farm tubing, steel, aluminum, wood, and chain link, along with many
other gate types. This gate opener can be set on the left or right and is used in the standard pull-to-open operation. By adding the push-to-open bracket accessory (not included) the
Mighty Mule FM360 can be used to push the gate open away from the property with the arms still mounted on the inside.
The Mighty Mule FM360 Single Opener is a low voltage system, eliminating the need to run 110 AC to your gate. Simply run 16-gauge low voltage to a household outlet within 1000' of
the operator or use a solar panel. The Mighty Mule FM360 runs off of a deep cycle marine battery (battery and housing for battery not included). The large battery allows for a
large storage capacity of cycles (Provides up to 1,500 back-up cycles with fully charged battery). This unit also does not have a control box. All the controls of the unit are housed directly
in the arm itself, consolidating space and less stuff to mount.

“The Mighty Mule FM360 automatic driveway gate opener. This is an entry level driveway gate opener for medium sized gates because of its longer stroke length and gearing.
A common concern we receive about the Mighty Mule FM360 is the time it take to open your gate and the operational noise level of the gate opener. The FM360 has a longer opening time due to the fact it has a smaller motor when compared to other gate openers in its size category. The motor is approximately 2 and 1/4 inches long and 1 and 3/8 inches in diameter. The motor turns a series of gears which turns the screw drive.
The control board for the Mighty Mule FM360 is built into the underside of the arm. One downside of having the control board built into the arm of the Mighty Mule FM360, is that maintenance is a little more difficult to carry out. The control board has the necessary plug ins for the various accessories you need for your gate to operate the way you want it to. Some of the plug-in options the Mighty Mule FM360 control board has built in are locks or lights, an edge device, entry and exit terminals, and cycle devices. These additional accessories are available on our website and our experts who are standing by can help you put together a complete package for you.
