The LiftMaster 971LM & 973LM Remote Transmitters with Security+ are used in conjunction with a matching universal receiver to make your gate opener work with the same remotes as your garage door.

With Security+ technology, the 970LM series of transmitters include the rolling code ability to send a new code to the receiver every time it is used, preventing people from obtaining the code and hacking into your system. The LiftMaster 970LM series of transmitters also come with a 5-year 3 volt lithium battery and work on a 390Mhz frequency.

We here at GateCrafters offer the single, dual and triple button versions of the LiftMaster 970 series transmitters. The 971LM (Single Button) and 973LM (Triple Button) all run on the same frequency and are compatible with the gate and garage door models listed above in the Accessory Compatibilities section.

All LiftMaster 970 series transmitters run on a 390MHz frequency, making them interchangeable to suit your transmitter needs. With the triple button transmitter, you can use the transmitters with multiple garage doors, gate openers or any combination that works for you.
