    The USAutomatic charge controller part #520001 ensures that your gate operator will function properly. The controller charges 12-volt DC batteries when you pair it with the DC transformer part #520009 (do not pair it with any other DC transformer). It is also capable of being paired with a 24-volt solar panel providing a charge to a 24-volt DC battery. The recommended battery types are SLA (Sealed Lead Acid), FLD (Flooded Lead Acid), AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat), and Gel batteries. It is not recommended to charge Lithium-ion batteries with this controller.
