Note that our pull force ratings are substantial and that the extra margin of power is part of the HySecurity reputation for reliability. HySecurity SlideSmart HD25 has a strong low flex, corrosion resistant steel chassis combined with an attractive key-locked, fade resistant, steel cover. Components on the Smart DC Controller are protected by opto-isolators which shield them from power surge and lighting strikes. The Smart DC controller provides variable speeds control to a powerful, continuous duty 24V DC motor which drives the gearbox. Two 12V, 8 amp batteries are included and will provide a full functional gate operator when AC power is unavailable. This is a sealed AGM type battery which lasts much longer than wet cell batteries and needs no maintenance over its lifespan. The actual number of gate cycles available from the battery depends upon gate resistance to travel, cycle, length, battery size, temperature, accessory power draw and frequency of gate cycles during power outage. The charger circuit regulates to allow high charger output when the battery is partially discharged, this charger will automatically reduce the output to near zero as the batteries become fully charged. Although batteries are protected from over discharge by a low voltage sensing circuit. This unit features a smart DC controller with over 55 menu items to allow installer configuration of gate functions and two user relays, which can be configured for over 30 different functions. The electronics, motor and gearbox are rated to operate in temperatures that range from -13 F to 158 F. The SlideSmart HD25 heavy duty slide gate opener operates gates up to 50 feet length or 2,500 lbs, and features the soft start and soft stop. The independent adjustment for open and close gate speed it's easy to use on the smart dc controller allowing the gate to independently vary the open and close setting. The Intelligent Entrapment sensor feature, detects any impediment to the gate travel through the system, stopping gate movement per UL 325 safety standards. The intelligent system monitors gate power then adapts the IES to trip at an adjustable threshold above normal power. The USB communication port provides accessibility to download system configurations using the Smart Touch Analyze and Retrieve tool software. The start software can be downloaded free by visiting www.hysecurity.com . An emergency stop button is accessible from the outside of the operator. The black emergency stop button is located on the right face of the chassis.
