Nice Apollo 1050US (US Version)
The Nice Apollo 1050US Control Board is a full-featured residential gate controller engineered to meet UL 325 (2018 and later) safety requirements for U.S. installations. Designed for applications where strict safety compliance is required, the 1050US mandates the use of monitored external entrapment protection devices, such as photo eyes or edge sensors, to operate.

The Nice Apollo 1050US can not operate without the required number of monitored entrapment protection devices, per UL 325 (2018) standards:
- Slide Gates: Two external entrapment sensors (one per direction)
- Swing Gates: Two external entrapment sensors unless no risk exists in one direction

Nice Apollo 1050i (International Version)
The Nice Apollo 1050i Control Board is an internationally focused version of the 1050 controller, designed for regions outside the United States or installations where monitored safety devices are not required. Unlike the 1050US, the 1050i does not mandate monitored photo eyes, offering greater flexibility for non-UL325 environments.
The 1050i includes a built-in LCD display, making setup, diagnostics, and troubleshooting easier across diverse international applications. With full support for dual gates, solar power, advanced programming options, and smooth gate operation, the 1050i is ideal for installers who need powerful functionality without U.S.-specific safety constraints.
